Utah Community Preservation Training

Sticking to the old adage “All preservation is local,” we have restructured the Utah Preservation Conference to be a series of regional, two-day workshops titled Community Preservation Training. Co-presented in collaboration with the Utah Division of State History, Community Preservation Training will engage local participants and better address local issues and community needs. The workshops offer the chance to receive preservation training in multiple fields and from multiple organizations and state agencies, engaging with inter-disciplinary professionals one-on-one.

All workshops are open to the general public and require a nominal registration fee. As these trainings will serve as the annual preservation education for CLGs (Certified Local Governments), CLG representatives may be eligible for fully discounted registration costs.
