Take your students time traveling.
Preservation Utah offers two self-guided walking tours designed just for kids. Use these brochures to take your class on tours of two of Salt Lake City's most important historic streets.
Time Travel on South Temple
Time Travel on South Temple is an exciting walking tour guide featuring ten historic buildings on South Temple Street between 300 East and 700 East. The brochures section for each building includes a description of its history and architecture, photographs, thinking questions, and a brief activity. The brochure also includes many historic photos. Whenever possible, connections are made between the buildings and the lives of historic or present-day children.
A Time Travel on South Temple Tour can stand alone or be combined with a Kearns (Utah Governor's) Mansion tour.
