EASE, Inc. was started by Sarah Winkler and Carl Christiansen in 1991 with two main projects: National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) assistance to Sinclair Oil Corporation on its proposed Snowbasin ski resort land exchange and 3D modeling and analysis of the mountain; and assistance to United Technologies Corporation Chemical Systems Division on its regulatory required phaseout of open burning of excess rocket propellant by 1995. Since then, EASE has continued its roles in the development and implementation of open burning alternative technologies and demilitarization of conventional munitions. In addition, we have branched out in the fields of civil and structural engineering, architectural engineering (A/E), and 2D/3D mapping and graphics, primarily under our multi-year A/E IDIQ contracts with Hill Air Force Base and Dugway Proving Ground, and with various manufacturing clients. We provide assistance in all our service areas to the propellant, explosives, and pyrotechnics manufacturers, and are well recognized in the global demilitarization community. We continue to provide our services to both the government and private industry sectors.
