This is a combination lecture and tour to provide an entertaining and informative walking tour of Sugar House. Learn the stories and secrets behind the signs of these local businesses as well as the skills of sign making. The lecture portion will explore signage in metropolitan Salt Lake City and will be based on her beautifully photographed book – Vintage Signs of Utah – which will also be available for purchase. The walking tour will focus on signs in Sugar House and the history behind them.
