Legacy Business Pub Crawl

The mining and railroad boom brought immigrants to Utah from around the world. With them they brought their well-established drinking habits. Rather than lose money to outsiders by importing beer, the first "buy local" movement was initiated by men with a knack for brewing beer.

Pub-CrawlOn the Legacy Business Pub Crawl, Preservation Utah tells the history of beer in Utah and takes you into three of Utah's most well-known watering holes!

The Historic Pub Crawl is a walking tour of three establishments, within 1-2 blocks of each other in south downtown Salt Lake City.  You are responsible for your own transportation to and from the crawl.  Therefore, we strongly recommend that you drink responsibly and utilize public transportation via UTA Trax and buses that are convenient to the crawl stops; after you register, you will know where the stop is and how to arrange transportation.

Is there an age requirement?

You must be 21 years old or older with a valid ID or Passport to participate in this event.  If you are not 21 and you sign up for the tour but are denied entry to any of the establishments, you will not receive a refund.

Can we bring our own alcoholic beverages or carry cocktails from bar to bar?

No outside alcohol is permitted and no alcoholic beverages may leave the establishments.

What if my plans change?
We do not provide refunds. The Pub Crawl is an all-weather, rain-or-shine, warm-or-cold event; dress appropriate to the weather.
